Francotyp Postalia Ultimail 90 franking machine: a guide

The Francotyp Postalia Ultimail 90 is a mid-volume franking machine that franks up to 90 letters per minute, with an automatic feeder, an integrated 5kg scale and Smart Meter technology. Note that it is not a Mailmark-compliant model, so if you want Mailmark’s lowest Royal Mail rates you should choose a Mailmark machine instead.

Mid-volume franking (up to 90 franks per minute)

The Ultimail 90 comes with a wide range of features, including a label dispenser for thick letters and small packages, an integrated 5kg scale that helps eliminate overpaying for your mail, and an automatic feeder that speeds up the franking process. It also includes Smart Meter technology, so you can use Royal Mail VAT services, frank in Smart Blue ink and reclaim the VAT you pay.

The Ultimail 90 lets your business run free advertisements on your mail – use up to six different adverts to promote your business and reach a wider audience.

Please note the Ultimail 90 is not set to become a Mailmark-compliant model, so we advise against it if you want to take advantage of the Mailmark service. Get a low-cost Mailmark franking machine quote for a similar machine instead.
