How do I turn on cost accounting on the Mailsend Lite?
Cost accounts let you track mailing and shipping costs by department or client. Turn the feature on from Settings, then add your accounts in your Online Postage Account.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Cost Accounts.
- Tap the slider to turn Cost Accounts on.
Note: When cost accounting is on, you must select an account every time before you print a stamp, even if it is the default.
How do I add a cost account on the Mailsend Lite?
Cost accounts are created in your Online Postage Account, then synced to the device. After adding accounts online, sync them in one of these ways:
- Tap Settings, then Cost Account, then Home.
- Reset the device by holding the power button.
- Do nothing – the device syncs automatically every four hours.
How do I set a default cost account on the Mailsend Lite?
Setting a default account saves time when cost accounting is enabled.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Cost Accounts.
- Tap Change Default Cost Account.
- Tap an account name.
- Tap Confirm.
How do I create a security PIN on the Mailsend Lite?
A security PIN restricts access to the device – you are prompted for it at power-up and when the device wakes from sleep.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Security PIN.
- Tap Yes, Create PIN.
- Enter a four-digit PIN.
- Verify the PIN.
How do I change or disable the security PIN on the Mailsend Lite?
Manage the PIN from the same Security PIN menu.
- Tap Settings, then Security PIN.
- To change it, tap Change Security PIN, enter your current PIN, then enter and verify a new four-digit PIN.
- To disable it, tap On, enter your PIN, then tap Yes to confirm.
