How do I fix error codes 4101 to 4106 on the Mailsend Lite?
Error codes 4101, 4102, 4103, 4104, 4105 and 4106 come from the ink cartridge.
- Open the ink door and check the ink carriage is visible.
- If the cartridge is visible, remove and reinstall it, then close the ink door.
- If that does not help, restart the device: hold the power button until it shows Shutting Down, wait 5 seconds, then tap the power button.
- If it persists, hard reboot: disconnect the power cord, wait ten seconds, plug it back in firmly and tap the power button.
Caution: Do not push or pull the carriage by hand – this disconnects the print carriage.
What does ‘Unable to print stamp’, ‘Error getting stamp’ or ‘This device has been disabled’ mean?
These messages point to an account or contract problem. For ‘Unable to print stamp’ (the contract is no longer active), disconnect the USB scale, restart the device, then hard reboot if needed and reconnect the scale. ‘Error getting stamp’, ‘Something went wrong’ during installation, and ‘This device has been disabled’ all need your franking supplier – please contact them for assistance.
How do I fix ‘Restart Device’ or ‘Printer temperature high’ on the Mailsend Lite?
For ‘Restart Device. (null : 0x0)’, restart the device (hold the power button until Shutting Down, wait 5 seconds, tap power), then hard reboot if needed. For ‘Printer temperature high’ with a fast flashing blue light, the lift motor is too hot – do not print more than 300 stamps at a time, and let the device cool idle for two hours without powering off or opening the ink door.
How do I fix scale messages on the Mailsend Lite?
For ‘Scale not detected’, ‘No scale connected’ or ‘Reading’ with no weight, work through these in order:
- Check nothing nearby is causing vibration, such as a fan.
- Make sure no other devices are in the USB ports.
- Remove items from the scale, tap Weight, then Zero Scale.
- Move the scale USB cable to a different USB port.
- Restart the device, then hard reboot if it persists.
What does ‘Your rates are out of date’ mean on the Mailsend Lite?
The device needs to check that all rate updates are complete and current after a full shutdown.
- Tap Restart now.
- Allow the device to restart and wait until the error disappears and the home screen appears – this takes about 15 minutes while background updates run.
