How do I add postage to the Mailsend Lite?
Top up your postage from the Home screen – you must add postage in multiples of £10.
- On the Home screen, tap the Postage funds icon.
- Enter the amount to add (in multiples of £10).
- Tap Add Postage.
How do I set low-postage preferences on the Mailsend Lite?
Choose what the device does when your balance is low: do nothing, alert you, or automatically refill. Go to Settings, tap the right arrow to page 2, tap Postage Refills, then tap the current selection to edit.
- Do nothing: you refill manually when the balance is low.
- Alert me: set a Low Funds Threshold (default £20, minimum £10, maximum £500) and tap Apply.
- Automatically refill postage: set the Low Funds Threshold and an Auto Refill Amount (default £100, minimum £10, maximum £500), then tap Apply.
How do I get postage refill receipts by email on the Mailsend Lite?
- Tap Settings.
- Tap the right arrow to advance to the next page.
- Tap Reports.
- Tap Refill Receipt Preferences.
- Tap the switch to turn Email refill receipts On.
Note: To add more notification email addresses, sign in to your online account on a computer.
How do I print postage on the Mailsend Lite?
- Place your envelope on the scale or enter the weight manually.
- If accounting is enabled, tap Cost Account to select an account, or leave the default selected.
- Check the correct class and envelope size are selected using the arrows at the top of the display.
- Insert the letter into the device, pushing all the way to the back and right – the device clamps the letter and prints. The power button flashes while printing.
- When printing finishes, remove the letter. Do not pull it out while the power button is flashing.
How do I print a surcharge (extra postage) on the Mailsend Lite?
A surcharge prints a custom amount (from £0.00 up to £999.99) when an item needs more postage.
- If accounting is enabled, tap Cost Account to select an account, or leave the default selected.
- Tap the arrows at the top of the display and tap Custom Job.
- Tap the down arrow and tap Surcharge.
- Enter the custom amount and tap Apply.
- Insert the envelope or tape, pushing all the way to the back and right – the device clamps it and prints.
How do I manage paperless billing for my account?
Paperless billing and email notifications are managed in your Online Account portal under Billing & Financials.
- Go paperless: sign in, open Billing & Financials, select Paperless Billing, then Go Paperless for all or for individual accounts.
- Return to paper: select Edit Settings for the account, then Turn off Paperless. A £5 (excluding VAT) paper charge may apply.
- Billing email notifications: under Billing & Financials select Billing Notifications and use the toggles. If an account is paperless, notifications must stay on for at least one email address.
