Reasons to recycle & refill

Mailcoms was the first company in the UK to offer refilling and resetting of franking machine ink cartridges. This service was designed as an environmentally friendly alternative to buying original and compatible ink cartridges – it lets us reuse and recycle old cartridges, saving both the environment and money. The Office of Fair Trading even wrote to us to highlight their satisfaction that customers are now given more choice for replenishing their franking ink supplies.

When you use our service we test your ink cartridge to make sure it is reusable, refill it with our own brand of Royal Mail approved ink, and call you once it is successful before taking payment for the service.

Ink cartridges we can recycle & reuse

We provide our recycling service for a range of franking machines from multiple manufacturers. If your model is listed below, please send us back your empty cartridges so we can keep the service running.
