How do I download the latest postage rates on the PostBase?
- Select the Menu button.
- Click the arrow until you can see and select Remote Services.
- The franking machine checks for, and downloads, the latest rates.
- Once installed, a notification appears. Click the green tick button to complete the update.
Note: During a rate change period, the server may be busy. If the download fails, repeat the steps above or try again at a quieter time of day.

How do I update the postage rates on the PostBase?
Press Menu, scroll to and select Remote Services. The machine downloads and installs the latest rates, then press the green tick to finish.
Why will the rate update not download on my PostBase?
During rate change periods the FP servers are busy. Wait and repeat the Remote Services download, ideally outside peak times.
How long does a rate update take on the PostBase?
Rate updates usually complete within a few minutes via Remote Services. During peak periods you may need to try more than once.
