Mailbase Envelope Messaging Support

How do I download an envelope message, logo, slogan or ad on the Mailbase?

1. Press Options once.
2. Press Page Down twice and select Connect Data Centre.
3. Select Uploads & Downloads.
4. The machine dials and connects – when prompted, select Get Update Now.
5. Let the updates install (do not turn off the system), then press Enter/Yes when finished.

How do I select and save an envelope message or logo on the Mailbase?

Select an ad to print it, then save it as the Normal Preset so it prints by default.

1. From the home screen, page down once and press the AD option.
2. Press Select an Ad.
3. Page up and down to find the logo you want and select it – the machine returns to the home screen ready to print it.
4. To save it as default, press Custom Presets, then Define Normal Preset.
5. At ‘Are all the current values correct?’, press Yes/Enter.
6. When it shows successfully created, press Continue, then Clear to return home – the logo is now saved as default.

How do I create an envelope message text on the Mailbase?

Note: Envelope message text is an optional feature added on request and is only available on some models. You can print an envelope message text or an image, not both.

1. From the home screen, use Page Down to select Text None.
2. Select Create a Text Msg.
3. At the prompt, select Start (text can be 5 lines of 20 characters).
4. Enter each line using the number keys, selecting Enter after each line, then Done when finished.
5. Enter a name for the text and press Enter/Yes to save it.

How do I select or delete an envelope message text on the Mailbase?

1. From the home screen, use Page Down to select Text None.
2. To use a text, select Select a Text Message and choose it with the Page Down / Page Up keys.
3. To remove one, select Delete a Text Msg, choose the text and press Enter/Yes.

Note: To make a selected text print by default, save it as the Normal Preset via Custom Presets, Define Normal Preset.
