How do I create a departmental account on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
- From the home screen, press the key next to ACCT or Select an Account to open the accounts menu.
- Select Create an Account.
- Enter a name for the account (up to 12 alphanumeric characters). Press each number key repeatedly to cycle through letters. Select Continue when done.
- At the prompt, either press Yes/Enter to create another account (return to step 3), or press No to finish. You return to the accounts menu.
- Press Clear or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I edit an account name or password on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account to open the accounts menu.
- Press Page Down ▼ and select Edit an Account.
- Select the account: enter the account number and press Yes/Enter, or use the selection key next to the account name in the display.
- Choose to edit the account name or the account password:
Edit Account Name: Enter the new name (up to 12 alphanumeric characters). Select OK when done.
Edit Account Password: Press Yes/Enter to confirm, enter the new 4-digit password, select Continue, re-enter to confirm, then select Set. - Press Clear three times or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I turn account passwords on or off on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
Note: The Supervisor Password must be enabled before you can use account passwords.
Turn account passwords on
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account.
- Press Page Down ▼ twice and select Acct Passwords.
- Select Turn Passwords ON. You return to the accounts menu.
- Select Select an account and choose your account.
- Enter the 4-digit password for that account if prompted. You return to the home screen with the account name displayed.
Turn account passwords off
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account.
- Press Page Down ▼ twice and select Acct Passwords.
- Select Turn Passwords Off. You return to the accounts menu.
- Press Clear or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I select a departmental account on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account to open the accounts menu.
- Select Select an account.
- Choose the account: enter the account number and press Yes/Enter, or use the selection key next to the account name.
- If a password is assigned to the account, enter the 4-digit password when prompted.
- You return to the home screen with the account name displayed.
How do I display account totals on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account.
- Press Page Down ▼ and select Display acct totals.
- Choose the account using the selection key or by entering the first digit of the account number.
- The account number, name, piece count and postage value display. Select Continue.
- You can clear the account, view another account, or select Done to exit.
- You return to the accounts menu. Press Clear or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I clear an account on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
Caution: Clearing an account permanently deletes its postage totals. This cannot be undone.
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account.
- Press Page Down ▼ and select Clear an account.
- Select the account using the selection key or by entering its account number.
- Press Yes/Enter to confirm (or No to cancel). The account is cleared and you return to the accounts menu.
- Press Clear or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I clear all accounts on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
Caution: This permanently deletes the postage totals for ALL accounts. This cannot be undone.
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account.
- Press Page Down ▼ twice and select Clear all accounts.
- Select Clear ALL Accts to confirm (or Cancel to abort). All account totals are cleared.
- Press Clear or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I delete an account on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
Caution: Deleting an account permanently removes it and all its data. This cannot be undone.
- From the home screen, select ACCT or Select an Account.
- Select Delete an account.
- Select the account using the selection key or by entering its account number.
- Press Yes/Enter to confirm deletion (or No to cancel).
- Press Clear or Home to return to the home screen.
How do I enable, disable or change the Supervisor Password on the DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
The Supervisor Password prevents unauthorised access to postage refills and machine setup procedures.
- Press Menu.
- Select Setup.
- Press the green down arrow if needed to scroll through the menu.
- Select Lock Code/Password.
- Select Enable or Disable Password.
- Enter the new supervisor password and select Accept.
- Re-enter the password to confirm and select Accept.
- At the Password Enabled message, select OK.
How do I view the piece count on my DM110i, DM160i or DM220i?
The piece count shows the total number of items franked over the machine’s lifetime.
- Select Envelope Printing.
- The piece count displays in the top right corner of the screen.

Yes. Account passwords can be turned on from the ACCT menu under Acct Passwords. The Supervisor Password must be enabled first.
