The FP Mailing T1000 is a low-volume franking machine launched in 1995 that franks up to 25 letters per minute. It includes Smart Meter technology, but it is not Mailmark compliant, so for the lowest Royal Mail rates you would need a newer Mailmark machine.

Low volume franking machine (speed of up to 25 franks per minute)
The Francotyp Postalia / FP Mailing T1000 franking machine is a low volume franker, and this machine is one of FP’s oldest franking machines. It was launched in 1995 and is still being used today. This is because although it is old, this machine can still benefit any business that uses it. For example you can advertise your business on your mail as well as reaching a top franking speed of 25 items per minute.
The FP Mailing T1000 franking machine also comes with the latest Smart Meter technology integrated within this machine. This great piece of technology allows any business to frank in all new smart blue ink, gain back your paid VAT and to use all of Royal Mail’s VAT services. This technology is very beneficial to any business.
However, the FP Mailing T1000 franking machine is not set to become a Mailmark compliant model as a new breed of Mailmark machines have been released by FP Mailing. We therefore advise you not to use this low volume machine if you want to take advantage of the new Mailmark service.
