Pitney Bowes DI6080 Folder Inserter Review

The Pitney Bowes DI6080 is a high-volume folder inserter built for transaction mail, accommodating up to six feeders and processing as many as 8,000 C5 envelopes per hour. It is the upgraded version of the DI4080 and supports OMR, OCR and BCR scanning for fast, automated mailings.

Any insert feeder or sheet feeder can be the main feeder in the DI6080, so the operator can set the machine up exactly as they want and load only the feeders that are needed. This reduces set-up time and the time spent emptying feeders from previous mailings.

The flexible DI6080 handles a wide range of documents at high speed. As many as 8,000 C5 envelopes can be processed per hour and up to 2,500 C4 envelopes per hour. However the documents enter the machine, the DI6080 will deal with them.

For quick job set-up, an unlimited number of job memories can be stored, allowing common jobs to be recalled quickly. The DI6080 also offers a wide range of control technologies, including OMR, OCR and BCR scanning.
