It is the direct replacement for the older iX-7 model and adds a 7.5-inch touchscreen, Smart Meter technology and Wi-Fi connectivity.

About the Quadient iX8 Series franking machine

The iX8 Series comes with Mailmark and Smart Meter capabilities, giving it the latest franking technologies. Benefits include lower postage costs, franking a 2D barcode and accessing VAT services.

As a high-volume franking machine, the iX8 Series includes an automatic feeding system and a larger integrated weighing scale as standard, so mail can be processed at a top speed of up to 150 letters per minute. Mail is always franked cleanly and accurately, reducing the risk of incorrectly franking a mail piece and helping ensure accurate franking payments.

A new feature is the integrated 7.5-inch user interface, which makes franking quicker and easier – within a few presses your mail can be franked and ready to go. Other useful features include departmental accounts, PIN code security, franking a company logo and connecting to the data centre via LAN or Wi-Fi.
