How do I use the scale on the Mailsend Lite?

Place your mail on the scale and the device displays the weight – you can use the deck flipped vertically or horizontally.

How do I connect the scale on the Mailsend Lite?

1. Plug the scale into the USB port on the back of the machine.
2. Close the cover, running the cable through the channel under the cover.
3. Position the scale on the left or right of the device using the guide pins, or on the optional stand behind the device.

Zero the scale if the weight looks wrong with nothing on it.

1. Remove any items from the scale.
2. Tap Weight.
3. Tap Zero Scale.

1. Tap the Weight section of the Home screen.
2. Enter the weight using the number pad.
3. Tap Apply.

Why does my Mailsend Lite say ‘Scale not detected’ or show the wrong weight?

These messages – including ‘Scale not detected’, ‘No scale connected’ and ‘Reading’ with no weight – are usually a connection or interference issue. Work through these in order:

1. Check nothing nearby is causing vibration, such as a fan blowing air on the scale.
2. Make sure no other devices are plugged into the device USB ports.
3. Remove any items from the scale, tap Weight, then Zero Scale.
4. Move the scale USB cable to a different USB port.
5. Restart the device: hold the power button until it shows Shutting Down, wait 5 seconds, then tap the power button.
6. If it persists, hard reboot: disconnect the power cord, wait ten seconds, plug it back in firmly and tap the power button.
