Downloading an Envelope Message, Logo, Slogan or Ad Plate

Please proceed as follows:

1. Press Options once.

2. Use the Review keys ▲▼ to scroll and select “Connect to Pitney Bowes”.

3. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

4. The following display messages will successively appear: “Processing, Software Update Required – Please Wait”.

5. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

6. The following display messages will successively appear: “Update 1 of 3 0%” (percentages are counting up) “Ready Please wait …”, “Update Please wait …”, “Graphics installed?”.

7. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

Follow these steps to select an envelope message, logo, slogan or ad plate to print:

Please proceed as follows:

1. Use the Review keys ▲▼ to scroll and select “Ad”.

2. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

3. Use the Review keys ▲▼ to scroll and select your Envelope Message image (formerly logo). This may be a company logo or return address. You may also be offered seasonal Envelope Message images.

4. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

Saving an Envelope Message, Logo, Slogan or Ad Plate as Preset to make Default Print

Note: Please be aware that you will need to select your Envelope Message image (formerly logo) before you will be able to save it.

Please proceed as follows:

1. Press Options once.

2. Use the Review keys ▲▼ to scroll and select “Change setup”.

3. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

4. Display says “Use Preset Setup”. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

5. Display says “Turn Preset on? (Y/N)”. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

6. Display says “New postal rates since preset created”. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

7. Use the Review keys ▲▼ to scroll and select “Store new preset?”. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

8. Display says “Review settings to be stored?”. Press No.

9. Display says “Confirm store new preset”. Confirm by pressing Enter/Yes.

10. Display says “View new preset?”. Press No.

11. Display says “Stay in Setup?”. Press No.

Ensuring the correct envelope message will print

You can perform a test print to ensure you have the correct Envelope Message selected. This allows you to not use any of your postage credit in your franking machine.

1. Press “Menu/Options”.

2. Press “Review (down)” until “Change Meter Stamp Type?” is displayed, and press “Enter/Yes”.

3. Press “Review (down)” until “Print Ad only?” is displayed, press “Enter/Yes”.

4. The franking machine displays: “Ad: [ad name] -Ad only”. This will only print the Envelope Message, with no postage.

5. Insert a blank envelope to print the Envelope Message.
a. If you wish to select and test a different Envelope Message, press “Enter/Yes”, scroll through and select a new Envelope Message with “Enter/Yes”, and insert another envelope.
b. Otherwise, press “Clear/Back” to exit – the franking machine will display “Return to printing postage? (Yes/No)”, press “Enter/Yes”.
