How do I use the scale on the SendPro Mailstation?

To use the scale, simply place the letter on it and the device displays the weight. You can use the deck flipped vertically or horizontally.

  4. Move the scale’s USB cable to a different USB port.

If it still fails, restart the device:

  1. Hold the power button until the screen displays “Shutting Down”.
  2. Once off, wait 5 seconds.
  3. Tap the power button to turn it back on.

If that does not work, perform a hard reboot:

  1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the machine.
  2. Wait ten seconds.
  3. Plug the cord back in firmly.
  4. Tap the power button.

How do I fix a “Reading” message or incorrect weight on the SendPro Mailstation?

If the scale shows “Reading” with no weight, or the weight does not change or is obviously incorrect, it is usually an internal error. Zero the scale, try a different USB port, then restart.

  1. Zero the scale: remove all items, tap Weight, then Zero Scale.
  2. Move the USB cable to a different port.
  3. Restart the device (hold the power button until “Shutting Down”, wait 5 seconds, tap the power button).
  4. If needed, hard reboot by unplugging the power for ten seconds, then reconnecting and powering on.
