Royal Mail Franking Prices 2025 Announced October Price Update

The Royal Mail have announced the new stamp and franking prices for 2025. The new franking prices are effective from the 7th April 2025, with stamp prices rising during October 2025 – effective from 6th October 2025 following a recent stamp price change from the Royal Mail. As always, the Royal Mail continues to favour franking over using stamps for some of their basic online postage services via reduced postage costs. Royal Mail Franking Prices 2025

Royal Mail have increased the prices for a range of services for both stamp and Mailmark users in 2025. However during October 2025, it saw Mailmark franking machine users benefit further from using lower franking prices after a stamp price increase. Using a franking machine continues to be a much cost-effective choice compared to using traditional stamps or certain online services. The new prices means:

 Letters – Save 3p per letter. That’s £30 saved per 1,000 letters.

 Large Letters – Save up to 50p per item – £500 saved per 1,000 items.

 Small Parcels – Save up to 10p per parcel.

 Medium Parcels – Save up to 56p per parcel.
